

Kurume City, the home of Kurume University, is located in Fukuoka Prefecture in the north-central section of Kyushu Island. Situated at the foot of beautiful Mount Kora, part of the lengthy Mino Range, Kurume City is bound on the north and west by the Chikugo River, the largest river in central Kyushu.
