Graduate School of Comparative Studies of International Cultures and Societies

The Graduate School offers two degrees (Master and Doctorate) and is based on the Faculties of Literature, Law, Economics, Commerce, Medicine, and the Institute of Comparative Studies of International Cultures and Societies. Its position is within a general analytic field while keeping the principles of interdisciplinary and comprehensive research. Its purpose is to establish research conditions for the comparative analysis of the structure and function of cross-cultural communication in studying Japanese and other cultures. In particular, the detailed analysis and research of cross-cultural communication is the focus of the graduate school.
