Institute of Comparative Studies of International Cultures and Societies

The Institute has two areas of focus. One encompasses theoretical analysis, and the other focuses on Area Studies of Japan, Asia, and the West.

The theoretical section is further subdivided into three parts: 1) Studies of structures and functions within basic cultures, 2) Studies of the structures and functions of laws, and 3) Analysis of the structures and functions of economies.

The Institute publishes a Journal, The Bulletin of the Institute of Comparative Studies of International Cultures and Societies, twice yearly.
