Radioisotope Institute of Basic and Clinical Medicine

This Institute was established in 1954 for the purpose of conducting basic research and clinical examinations using radioisotopes. The present facility was constructed in 1974 and has 1,784 square meters of floor space.

The Institute is staffed by four full-time researchers who are assisted by ten researchers holding joint appointments from other departments. The Institute comprises three separate divisions: 1) The Basic Research Division, 2) The Clinical Research Division and 3) The Administrative Division.

The Institute is open for use by researchers who are qualified by the University to use isotopes. Regular staff members make every effort to give appropriate instruction in the various arts of using radioisotopes.
